you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement under South African law. if you use our services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation.

if you do not agree with these terms, you must not use our services. we may refuse service, suspend access, or close accounts where we reasonably believe there is a breach of these terms or applicable law.

we provide online platforms and related content to help users learn skills, explore job opportunities, and connect with educational or career resources. features may change over time; we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services with reasonable notice where practicable. continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

where registration is required, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential. you are responsible for all activity under your account.

you must not misuse our services, including by attempting unauthorised access, scraping or harvesting data in breach of these terms, distributing malware, harassing other users, or infringing intellectual property or privacy rights.

all content we provide—such as branding, text, graphics, course materials, software, and layout—is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by South African and international intellectual property laws.

we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use our services for personal, non-commercial learning and job-seeking purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing. you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as permitted by law or with our prior consent.

if you submit content (for example feedback, posts, or uploads), you retain ownership of your content but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, use, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate and improve our services.

you warrant that your content does not violate law or third-party rights and that you have obtained any necessary consents, including under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA") where personal information of others is involved.

our services may contain links to third-party websites, employers, training providers, or payment processors. we are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA"), POPIA, and other applicable South African law. where the CPA applies to you as a consumer, nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

we do not warrant that content is complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose. job listings and educational material are for information purposes; hiring, admissions, and outcomes depend on third parties and your own efforts.

to the maximum extent permitted by law, we (including our directors, employees, and affiliates) are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive loss, loss of profits, data, or goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of our services.

our aggregate liability for any claim relating to these terms or our services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (if any) or R500, except where liability cannot be excluded under the CPA or other mandatory law.

you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your content, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

you may stop using our services at any time. we may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, pose a security risk, or where required by law.

provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will remain in effect after termination.

these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. subject to mandatory provisions of the CPA and other laws, you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa for disputes arising from these terms or our services.

you may also refer consumer complaints to the National Consumer Commission or other recognised industry bodies where applicable.
